To start a design minimal information is needed… desired text, preferred colors and description of graphics. Any additional information such as fonts is helpful. Once a design is put together you will have the opportunity to fine tune it or make changes. This process will generally take no more than 2 or 3 weeks to complete but must be completed within 3 month time frame. If it is not you will lose your deposit.
Once the design is approved by email, you will need to tell me:
The quantity of chips you want (minimum 100 per design)
Your shipping address (by UPS - no PO boxes)
The remaining balance must be paid in full before the chips are manufactured.
Upon receipt of your chips I will expect you to mail one of each chip design to me.
All rights to the chip designs are retained by me, the artist, and may not be used without written permission.
We can not reproduce any copyrighted material or material you do not own the rights to.
Once the chip designs are sent to Chipco, they may request some changes to the design, because of color issues such as bleeding. I will make these modifications and you will have to approve the changes before they are re-sent to Chipco.
Once the design is finalized, Chipco will send me a proof document of the design which I will forward to you. You will be required to approve this by email before Chipco will manufacture the chips. Any delays in this approval will impact the completion date.
The chips will be mailed directly to you from Chipco.
Upon receipt, please examine the chips and let me know you have them. On the off chance there are any problems with the order, let me know and we will work to resolve it as quickly as possible.
Should you ever wish to purchase additional chips of the same design in the future, there will be no artwork or setup fees applied to reorders.
